The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist is now on Netflix as well as Amazon Prime, YouTube, and other major streaming platforms.
From the Oscar-sweeping team behind Everything Everywhere All At Once and the Oscar-winning director of Navalny comes The AI Doc: Or How I Became an Apocaloptimist. The movie follows director Daniel Roher, soon to be a first-time father, as he talks to a wide range of AI experts, including CHT Co-Founders Tristan Harris, Aza Raskin, and Randima Fernando.
His journey represents many questions people ask: How does AI work? What’s promising? What are the risks? And ultimately, what does it mean for our future?
Hundreds of millions of people can now see The AI Doc conveniently, creating a huge opportunity to accelerate public understanding of AI, the race AI companies are in, and the enormous implications for all of us across jobs, surveillance, relationships, children, and society.
Together, we can create massive public pressure that shifts culture, law, and incentives so AI is deployed thoughtfully to serve everyone—not just a select few while leaving the rest of us behind.
Check out the film. Share it with five people. Host a screening.
Let’s create a moment that permanently changes AI’s trajectory in service of humanity’s best interests.
With deep gratitude to be on this journey with you,
The CHT Team

It’s not available on Amazon Prime in Australia, and the YouTube video you linked to doesn’t work in Australia. I don’t have Netflix and can’t find an alternative place to watch.
It’d be helpful to cater to a wider audience than just the US.
I heard Tristan Harris and others speak on AI and this doc in May at a Vatican-sponsored event at the Pontifical Urban University in Rome. People need to pay attention to the prophets among us.
